But in Penelope Cruz's case is it more a case of romancing in the rays?
Because Pen's been snapped looking, umm, how shall we put it, friendly with Spanish actor Javier Bardem, reports People.
Romantic rumours have been in the air for a while, and they've been snapped in the Maldives together.
Plus, People reckon, there's a vid of them 'avin a cuddle in New York.
But, apparently Pen squashed earlier rumours saying: "It's not true.
"He's a friend and the best actor in the world."
The pair have recently worked together on a Woody Allen film, which also stars Scarlett Johansson, in Spain.
So, without an official comment from their peeps, we'll have to assume they're friends. Specially good friends.
