Our mamas always told us to never date an actor.
And actress Ali Larter seems to be singing the same tune.
The super-hot Heroes star told the Daily Mail how she gets along with normal blokes better than superstars and how she's managing to keep her personal life under wraps.
Ali says she's "madly in love" with her boyf, who she has been with for 18 months.
Read it and weep, boys.
She went on: "I've never been a big fan of modely, actory types. I'm attracted to real confidence.
"In my business, when there's so much caring about such meaningless things, I like someone who's the opposite of that."
Is she insinuating that male thespy types are shallow, high-maintenance so-and-sos?
We knew it.
Although her star is clearly rising, Ali is happy to remain on the back-burner, publicity-wise.
She says: "For me, that's a blessing. I haven't done nearly everything that I want to do work-wise and so I'm quite happy being that little bit under the radar."
She'd better get used to being fully on that radar, we reckon - Ali is set to become a household name.
