Amy Winehouse's husband Blake Fielder-Civil has spoken out.
He fears his wife could die if she has another drugs relapse.
Speaking from behind bars in Pentonville prison, where he is facing charges of perverting the course of justice, Blake told the News Of The World:
"I'm so relieved she (Amy) has finally taken my advice, after I begged her to go into rehab.
"I even threatened her with divorce because I thought it was the only thing to make her see sense."
Amy entered rehab soon after pictures and a video of her allegedly taking drugs were splashed across the British media.
Since being in jail, Blake has managed to kick his drug addiction, but is terrified that his wife will continue with the destructive lifestyle that he says marred their previous life together.
"Had I not gone to prison I could have been dead by now and so could Amy because we were taking so many drugs together," he said.
"Amy also became like a zombie. She was docile, sleeping all the time, because of the drugs. We were like the Living Dead.
"Prison has saved me. But if Amy goes back on crack again, I will be lucky if my wife's alive in three months."
Blake also spoke of his upset over pics in the press of Amy looking dishevelled and painfully thin.
"She is thin, she is bulimic and she looks ill. Bulimia is deadly in itself and I've tried without success to make her eat properly," he said.
He also revealed that his parents, Georgette and Giles, were desperate for him to divorce Amy, saying:
"They think she's the Black Widow, who will be the death of me if I don't end our marriage. But I'd prefer to have a short life with Amy than a long life without her."
Despite all the anguish over his wife, Blake is ultimately positive about their future together now that she has entered rehab.
"I have experienced a long period of being drug-free in prison and I want to win back the loving, happy woman I married before our lives were destroyed by drugs," he said.
"It's my dream that we could grow old together."
