If any can of beans looked like it was never going to be spilt, it was the one containing insider info on Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
But a small portion of said beans has now been released, by Ange herself.
The charity-working actress has spoken exclusively to NBC reporter Ann Curry about her family - including Mr Pitt - for the very first time.
In a snippet that won't give Jennifer Aniston or the rest of us anything concrete to go on, Ange described how she and Brad came to be.
"It's one of those funny things that just happens, and you live your life, and you're a family. But you never actually discuss (it)," she said.
Ange revealed how the public interest in her relationship with Brad makes her "giggle".
"If (Brad) saw this, he would probably understand why I was laughing," she said.
"Because I just don't know how to address that kind of thing. I don't talk about our - my - relationship in public. But we also don't talk about it at home."
Ms Jolie also revealed that she is coming up to eight months pregnant - not about to drop, as has been reported.
She also admitted that she and Brad know the sex of their baby... but refused to reveal it.
Talking about her adopted daughter, Zahara, she said: "She is so smart and so strong. And her potential as a woman one day is great.
"My life is very full. I'm very proud when I see my children - already Mad (Maddox), just how he adjusts to different places in the world and different people and his views and the kind of man he's going to be. I'm very lucky."
Angelina spoke to the journalist whilst in Namibia, where she and Brad are currently staying and where she'll give birth at the end of May/ beginning of June.
