After making the headlines of late purely for her friendship with Brad Pitt and the denied rumours that they had an affair, Angelina will be happy to find herself top of the pile.
The poll, voted by more than 15 million people in 27 countries, sees the 29-year-old beating off stiff competition from the likes of Teri Hatcher, Halle Berry, Pamela Anderson and Paris Hilton.
FHM editor Ross Brown said: "Angelina Jolie has featured highly in the competition for the last couple of years and she is a deserved winner of the global poll."
The winner of the UK reader's list will be announced next month - as voting continues online - with Kelly Brook and Rachel Stevens going strong.
