If it is a hit, they will be snapped up by the ABC network for a full series.
The boys spokesman said they had always wanted to go to America but only if the right show came along.
The show's producer Phil Gurin, who took Anne Robinson to the US, told the Daily Mirror: "Ant and Dec said, 'We love it, this is the one'."
Well, we hope they're in fine fettle as they have got a lot on their plates and will be raking up the Air Miles as the skip to and fro across the pond...
Apart from their US gig, they will also be on our screens on Simon Cowell's new show Britain's Got Talent, not to mention a new series of Saturday Night Takeaway and I'm A Celebrity... Phew.
Their spokesman said they would not ditch Britain permanently "because they've got too much on".
