It's the one day of the year that the world is officially allowed to be a bit silly.

But we thought rather than spring a prank on you, dear reader, we'd let you in on the joke.

Perhaps the stars have a taste for farcical behaviour cos it keeps the paps interested.

Or maybe it's the natural performer, bursting to show off.

Whatever the reason ( we haven't got the space to understand celeb psyche), it seems to happen quite a lot.
