So we are bringing you the latest mutterings on Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in a news reporting-style way only.

According to Italian newspapers, the pair are set to tie the knot this weekend at... where? You guessed it: George Clooney's Italian villa in Laglio.

It all sounds a tad familiar, seeing as this rumour was doing the rounds a couple of months back.

But our ears pricked up when we heard that it was the mayor of Laglio's wife who's been doing all the talking.

Monica Mantero was reported as saying there was "a lot of movement"  and "a lot of people" at George's pad.

Hmmm. Does that sound like wedding preparations to you?

However, Mrs Mantero did say the couple were yet to seek permission from her hubby for the marriage, but assured them: "Even if they contacted him an hour before, he could still marry them."

So, if Angelina's surname turns to Pitt over the weekend don't say we didn't warn you...
