Are Mel And Eddie Over?

But six months, one marriage proposal and a pregnancy later... it's all over.

Eddie spoke openly about how he's ditched Mel in an interview with Dutch TV show RTL Boulevard, whilst promoting his new film Dreamgirls.

The comedian is also demanding a DNA test to be carried out once Mel's baby is born.

He was asked how the relationship was going and Eddie told the interviewer in New York: "You're being presumptuous, because we're not together any more.

"And I don't know whose that child is until it comes out and has a blood test.

The pair started dating in June 2006, just two months after Eddie divorced his wife of seven years Nicole.

In a bizarre twist, People magazine is quoting film producer Tracey Edmonds as saying that she is now dating the Doctor Dolittle star.

According to People, Tracey said they've been dating "for about a month and a half" when asked at the New York premiere of Dreamgirls which she attended with Eddie last night.

When asked if she was happy she smiled and said, "Yes, very happy. We're having fun."

But nothing can be confirmed, as a rep for the comedian said: "We do not comment on Mr Murphy's personal life."
