The Londoner left to a chorus of boos from the crowd after her fellow housemates chose to kick her out.

Vanessa and bitching pal Makosi polled the most public votes -  26% and 47% respectively - after six housemates in total were up for eviction.

Big Brother chiefs then told the remaining seven that they had to decide which one of the two should leave.

All but one voted for Vanessa to go, Kemal the only contestant to vote for Makosi.

On hearing the news, Makosi hugged Vanessa who was sobbing saying; "This is awful. I'm scared."

Then Makosi followed Vanessa up the stairs telling her that she would leave too, but Science coaxed her back into the house leaving a tearful Vanessa to greet the awaiting crowd alone.

Derek, Eugene, Orlaith and Science were the others who were up for eviction - but none of them knew until Friday night.

All had been told earlier in the week that Kemal, Anthony and Science were in the running to go.

After leaving the House Vanessa told Davina McCall that she thinks Makosi will win the contest.

And, ironically, she added: "I have learned never to trust anyone."
