The actress was filming the scenes for Pauline Fowler's funeral when she had a fall, stumbling down the steps of a BBC breakfast van.
Babs broke her wrist and sprained her ankle but, ever the professional, insisted on finishing the scenes before being taken off to hospital.
She's one brave lady.
A source told The Sun: "Babs had a bit of a fright. She's wearing a splint for the next two weeks.
"A surgeon will then decide if it has to go in plaster."
A spokesman for the BBC said: "Barbara is not filming at the moment and we wish her a speedy recovery."
