Emma Bunton looks like the latest Brit act to have tried and failed to crack America.
She has followed in the footsteps of Robbie Williams, Oasis and the rest of the Spice Girls after her new album flopped badly.
Free Me didn't even make the Billboard Top 200 which means it failed to sell more than 5,380 copies, according to The Mirror.
The 29-year-old Baby Spice has been vigorously promoting the album across the Atlantic and even appeared on 'Shock Jock' Howard Stern's show.
But so far it appears to no avail despite some promising reviews.
It's in stark contrast to the massive impact the Spice Girls had on America in 1997, scoring a string of hits and becoming a phenomenon virtually overnight.
A source told the paper: "Obviously Emma is disappointed at the chart placing - especially as the media reviews were very positive.
"She has made two visits to the States and has tried very hard to drum up sales for her album, but so far it just hasn't happened."
