Only once all the Bafta gongs have been handed out can the stars really relax.
The smiles return to being genuine and the oozing gratitude and speech-memorising gives way to all-out partying.
Despite the slightly less than brilliant weather London laid on for the event, it didn't stop hordes of A-listers from arriving at the Bafta ceremony.
And then a whole load more rocked up for all the post-bash parties.
There must have been plenty of tables spare at Hollywood's hottest clubs, as the big cheeses partied on down in London instead.
George, Jake, Heath, Renee, Mischa, Charlize and Christina provided some Tinseltown glamour.
But they were joined by the likes of hefty British and Irish talent such as Jude, Pierce, Thandie, Ralph, Rachel and Kristin.
And then of course, there was the usual sneeze splatter of less well-known celebs - some might refer to them as hangers-on - not us.
