Eva Green, who captured Daniel Craig's Bond heart in Casino Royale, was named the best rising star - voted for by the public.

The french actress accepted her trophy with the words: "Wow, oh la la, la la."

Daniel himself went home with his hands in his pockets after Forest Whitaker beat him to the best actor gong for The Last King Of Scotland.

The Queen was named best film, while United 93's Paul Greengrass went off with the best director award.
