Beyonce: Marital Truth

Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z So there's been a lotta nuptial chatter where Beyonce Knowles is concerned.

But has she really wed Jay-Z or not?

Well, the truth of the matter is...

They got hitched, baby - it's official.

Yup, there were rumours that Bey and Jay had tied the knot at the beginning of this month, but with her keeping schtum on the topic and previous Beyonce marriage goss turning out to be false, we weren't sure what to believe.

But now People have got evidence - if not exactly from the horse's mouth, then close enough to it.

People spoke to Donna Conkling, a town clerk in Scarsdale, New York, who confirmed that Beyonce and Jay-Z filed a signed wedding licence which listed the date of the deed as 4th April this year.

She said the licence was expected to be processed without a penalty, despite it being filed more than five days after the wedding, as required by US law.

The couple apparently applied for the marriage licence just three days before the ceremony, where guests are rumoured to have included Gwyneth Paltrow and Beyonce's former bandmate Kelly Rowland, as well as her and Jay-Z's respective families.

So with the nuptial speculation all done and dusted, we reckon it's time to cut the wedding cake... and begin the bump rumours.
