Beyonce's Queen Upset

Beyonce Knowles delivered a sizzling duet with Tina Turner at this year's Grammys.
But in the process she unknowingly upset another big diva.
Aretha Franklin, the widely acknowledged Queen Of Soul, was left feeling wounded after Beyonce referred to Tina as "the queen", when welcoming her on stage during the live ceremony.
In a state of high excitement, a hot-panted Beyonce built up an electric atmosphere as she introduced Tina, saying:
"There is one legend who has the essence of all of those things: the glamour, the soul, the passion, the strength, the talent.
"Ladies and gentlemen, stand on your feet and give it up for the queen."
In fact, Tina herself is known by the title of queen, but more in the sense of Queen Of Rock 'n' Roll, rather than Aretha's definitive Queen Of Soul territory.
A clearly stung Aretha, who performed her own collaboration at the ceremony, stopped short at calling the Grammy organisers a chain of fools for the blunder, but it's obvious she felt they had no r-e-s-p-e-c-t.
"I am not sure of whose toes I may have stepped on or whose ego I may have bruised between the Grammy writers and Beyonce," she said in a statement issued by her publicist.
"However, I dismissed it as a cheap shot for controversy."
Luckily for Bey, Aretha ended her statement on a gracious note, sending "love to Beyonce anyway".
