As much as we love Angelina Jolie, the former wild child can seem a little scary at times.
All those stories about vials of blood, spooky tattoos and such like...
But it seems we're not the only nervy-nancies - Brad Pitt had some fears of his own about the Tomb Raider gal.
He has admitted he was nervous about offering Ange the role of Mariane Pearl in his film A Mighty Heart.
The actor told Newsweek magazine: "I knew the part had to be played by someone with Mariane's strength and understanding of the world, but I didn't know how to broach the subject."
Apparently he was worried he would be accused of favouritism.
But since making the film, produced by Brad's company Plan B, Angelina and Mariane have become good friends.
The Ocean's 13 star said of the pair: "Being in the room with those two women is great fun. It's like sitting down with Roosevelt and Churchill - only much better-looking."
