Brian's Big TV Role

Apparently this saying is fairly accurate for Big Brother winner Brian Belo.

The former housemate banged on so much about his love of Hollyoaks while residing in the house of cameras that Channel 4 bosses couldn't ignore it.

So they invited him to star as an extra on the show.

Speaking about his experience, Brian said his highlights included meeting Jennifer Metcalfe, who plays Mercedes McQueen, and pulling a pint in The Dog pub.

"When I landed the role on Hollyoaks I was so excited I couldn't sleep," he said.

"The day ranked as one of the top three days of my life. Number one was winning BB and number two was going out with BB's Amanda, of course."

Luckily he got that in before oozing on:

"Jennifer was really lovely, just as I'd dreamed. When she said I could sit on her bed in the McQueens' house, I was like, game on!"

"I nearly fainted when I went into The Dog."
