Not much gets under our showbiz radar.
But Brittany Murphy has managed to pull the wool over our eyes.
She went off and tied the knot last month with her British writer and director boyf Simon Monjack.
Brittany's rep told People: "They were married at their home in Los Angeles several weeks ago in a very intimate ceremony.
"It was officiated by a rabbi and they were surrounded by their families."
And to add another Hollywood twist, Brit ended up with not one, but two engagement rings - because she couldn't make up her mind.
The jeweller who served them said: "They couldn't decide on one, so they got them both.
"Simon told me: 'You know, you only live once.' He did it with a lot of love and sentiment. I've never had that happen to me before. It's so romantic."
After getting spliced, the newlyweds then headed down to the Kentucky Derby to enjoy being Mr and Mrs Monjack.
Brit and Simon said in a statement: "This was our first trip as a married couple. We came to the Kentucky Derby and had a wonderful time."
