The poor girl is just coming clean...

Yup, she's had a bit of a dodgy patch, kids.

And frankly, that's OK with us. We love a bit of honesty and humility - although we were also loving the bonkers Britney with the penchant for flashing

But that's enough of that, says her manager.

"She understands what's going on right now, and she calls it her 'rocky moment'," Larry Rudolph told USA Today. "Britney knows exactly what she needs to do.

"She's taking all the right steps. Britney Spears will be back and absolutely at the top of the entertainment industry very soon."

Larry says he knows many fans have been put off by Brit's recent antics.

"From what they've been seeing and hearing, I understand the disappointment. But Britney is increasingly motivated to get out there.

"She sees this as a challenge, that some fans may be questioning her. She is respectful. She sees this as her challenge to win them back."

He concluded that Britney's latest single will be out in the late summer.
