The pregnant popstar's wee has now helped her to help others after her positive pregnancy test, found in an LA hotel's bathroom bin, has been auctioned for charity.

Canadian radio station, New Hot 89.9, initially purchased the test from a 'connection' they have at the unnamed hotel where Britney had been staying.

"We saw an opportunity to offer a bit of pop culture history to our listeners, and we jumped at it.

"It meant that we could also find a creative new way to support two great charities," said a spokesperson for the radio station.

They bid a whopping $5,001 (£2,600) for the pleasure of owning the second-hand kit, complete with Britney's pee.

The proceeds will be donated to US charities The Candlelighter's Childhood Cancer Foundation and The Easter Seal Society, which helps disabled children.

Britney, 23, announced last month that she is pregnant with her husband, Kevin Federline's baby.

The couple's new reality TV show, titled Britney and Kevin: Chaotic, begins later this month on American TV.
