Daddy Spears is putting his foot down.
And Jamie Spears is taking away the keys to some of Britney Spears’ cars.
But it’s not like she’s grounded.
Oh no, he’s taken back her car keys on a permanent basis.
A court has granted Papa Spears the power to "sell or dis
pose of" an undisclosed number of Brit’s seven cars, documents show.
Lawyers for Jamie Spears stated that the cost of maintaining the fleet of vehicles was too expensive and that the sale of "a certain of" her cars "will save substantial expense to the conservatorship estate".
So what will Brit be waving goodbye to?
Well, according to People, she’ll at least be saying ta-ra to two white Mercedes, a white Mini Cooper convertible, and a black Audi.
So it’s bon voyage to that little lot and, who knows, there could be some more losses to follow... as Jamie and a lawyer will remain in control of her affairs until a hearing on 31st July.
