Britney Spears has had an offer of work.

But we're not sure how it's going to go down.

Britney SpearsBritney SpearsIt's defo a bizarre ask, even by Britney's standards.

She's been offered a job working as a real receptionist for animal rights group People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals (Peta).

The group were inspired by her recent performance as a secretary on US comedy show How I Met Your Mother.

And the Peta president Ingrid E Newkirk has made Britters a written job offer.

We know what you're thinking - this is an April Fool's wind-up.

But according to the Peta grand fromages it's a 100% bona fide offer.

They're apparently targeting Brit because she has previously worn fur and bought animals from pet stores.

In her letter to Brit Ingrid wrote: "After seeing your excellent performance on How I Met Your Mother, Peta would like to offer you a real job as a receptionist.

"It could be for as little as an hour, and you would see - from the inside - why we are so concerned about issues like fur and homeless dogs and cats.

"As a ‘thank you’ for your willingness to learn and help, we would donate $1,000 to a children’s charity."

Go on, Britters, say you'll do it.
