Things have gone a little haywire in Britney Spears' life of late.
However, it seems that all the commotion has worked wonders for her music.
She's been back in the studio and recorded a new tune, called Baby Boy.
And here in the Showbiz Shed we've had an earful of this musical treat - though we had a hard time believing it was Brit's song.
Think raw and dark rather than sugary sweet pop.
More Gwen Stefani-esque than Britters' usual style.
All in all, a rather mature bit of tune-age.
It seems that she's been digging deep to pull her latest track outta the bag.
She tells how her baby boy deserted her - hmmm... do we reckon she has a certain ex-hubby in mind?
It really is worth a listen and you can make your own mind up.
