Move over Hollywood.
Blighty is cool and ruling the roost after scoring big at the 14th annual Sag Awards.
The leading gent and lady we're talking about, of course, are Daniel Day-Lewis and Julie Christie.
Even though Dan's been an Irish citizen since 1993, here in the Showbiz Shed we consider him part of Blighty's best as he was born in London.
Daniel bagged the best actor gong, and dedicated his award to the late Heath Ledger, saying: "There are many actors in this room tonight including my fellow nominees who've given me that sense of regeneration.
"Heath Ledger gave it to me."
An ecstatic Julie, who won the best actress gong for her portrayal of a woman slowly sinking into dementia, said: "If I've forgotten anybody it's just that I'm still in character."
Despite being nominated for two awards, Australian belle Cate Blanchett went home empty-handed.
Other winners were the likes of Queen Latifah, Ruby Dee, and Penelope Cruz's leading man, Javier Bardem.
