Sometimes celebrities think that they'll endear themselves to the public by taking a swipe at their own appearance - trying to reassure ordinary folk that they too are not perfect.
But it is a little nauseating when a very stunning, very slim and very athletic star dares to moan about their butt.
Enter Cameron Diaz...
The actress has revealed that she is not a fan of her saggy bottom and despite her continual attempts to fill out, she's failed.
"There are parts of my 32-year-old body that need a little more tending than they did even two years ago," IOL.com reports her as saying.
"Looking in the mirror I can see my ass sag to the back of my knees. All my life I wanted to be a fleshy, voluptuous woman - the kind that bursts out of clothing.
"But no matter how many bean burritos with extra cheese I ate, even as a child I knew it was not my destiny."
The Charlie's Angels star, who is dating 23-year-old Justin Timberlake, will just have to make do with her skinny behind and be happy with the thought that if she had managed to fill out she'd now be worrying about tucking her bum into the back of her socks and not just seeing it slip down to her knees.
