Their divorce has been finalised.
While the papers stated irreconcilable differences as the reason for their break-up, US reports suggest they went their separate ways fairly amicably, largely because a pre-nup had been in place.
The couple, who married in November 2003, announced their split in June 2006.
It's thought that both Car and Dave are currently single, although there have been rumours about Dave and Evan Rachel Wood.
