Forget celeb cat fights, this could be the biggest dog fight on TV.
The battle to win daytime ratings has gone into a new gear, as a certain famous pampered pooch prepares to enter the fray.
According to reports in the Daily Mirror, Sharon Osbourne will be hosting her new chat show on ITV with her pet Pomeranian, Minnie, as her sidekick.
This is likely to touch a raw nerve with daytime rival Paul O'Grady, who left ITV to host a chat show on Channel 4.
His move to the other side prompted an argument about the image rights of his dog, Buster, a big hit with viewers.
ITV bosses lost out though: Buster went to Channel 4 with Paul, who accused ITV of being "petty".
A source told the paper: "ITV bosses reckon viewers will be won over by Minnie... However, they are very aware they may be accused of promoting Minnie in a petty way to get one over on Paul."
X Factor judge Sharon will record her debut show on April 18.
It will go out in the 5pm weekday slot, exactly when Paul's show is aired.
So, which show will prove to be mutt-see viewing...
Apologies... seriously.
