Chanelle Hayes Children's Champions 03.08Chanelle HayesWe all have something we want, right?

But up until now, we’d always thought the only thing Big Brother star Chanelle Hayes’  wanted was...

To be her idol, Victoria Beckham.

But Chan revealed her new desire to Sky Showbiz and it’s rather interesting...

We chatted to Chanelle on the red carpet at the Children’s Champions Awards, which will be shown this Sunday on Sky One, and she told us about her new pop career.

Come April her new reality TV show Chanelle: Wannabe Popstar is starting, and it’ll see Chan launching her pop career.

Arriving on the red carpet just ahead of Emma Bunton, she told Sky Showbiz: "The single comes out in May, it’s like, I’m going to try and be a pop star. The Single is called I Want It."

So, what are her tunes like? She told us: "It’s really good, it’s sexy for the boys, but then feministic (her word, not ours) for the girls, it’s really dead good.

"It’s real exciting, you’ll love it... hopefully."

We’re sure we will.

But what is it she wants? She said: "Well, that’s the good thing about it, it can be whatever you want - a packet of crisps, something a litte more, it can be whatever."

And what of her love life at the mo? Rumours have linked her to footballer Seb Hines.

Before we could pry any more out of her X Factor’s Shayne Ward arrived on the red carpet,  which Chanelle confirmed with a cry of: "Oh my God, it’s Shayne Ward."

And in a flurry of excitement she flitted inside.

Oh well, guess we’ll um, see, or maybe hear you on the radio waves next, eh Chanelle?

The Children's Champions Awards will be broadcast on Sunday 16th March at 6pm on Sky One.
