Chan On Jen's Ex

Chantelle HoughtonSo, it was Cupid we saw flying around in Chantelle Houghton's neck of the woods.

And Chan's not been shy to tell her tale.

In an exclusive interview with New! magazine, she's talked about the stories and snaps of her with Jennifer Ellison's ex-boyfriend, Tony Richardson.

The pair were pictured sharing a peck on the doorstep of her Essex home, but Chan originally remainted tight-lipped.

Now she's the magazine: "I met him (Tony) in the Embassy club a couple of months ago. We just got talking. Last week it was his birthday and I asked him if he wanted to meet up.

"We went shopping to Bluewater for the day. Then he came back to mine, we had something to eat, watched telly and then when he left, we got caught saying goodbye to each other."

Jennifer Ellison and Tony Richardson in 2004On what they talked about on their first meeting in Embassy she said: "I can't remember, I was so drunk. I think I was getting him to say things in his Liverpudlian accent. I thought it was funny."

Chan says their goodbye kiss was a "no tongues" affair, and that she doesn't "know if it's more than a friendship thing because it's not like I've spoken to him about it".

But she does reckon: "He's fit. And he has such a nice personality. He really makes me laugh."

Tony and former Brookside star Jennifer parted last year, and later Jennifer alleged Tony had been violent towards her.

When asked if she was "put off" by the things said about him, Chan said: "A lot of stuff has been written about me. So I like to take people on face value."
