Chantelle Houghton has become a millionaire on the back of her Celebrity Big Brother appearance.

Can you believe it? The word is that she has racked up more than £925,000 in a year.

But how on earth has she managed such a tall order? She must've been a busy bee indeed.

Chan's been working like a trooper, splitting her time between telly appearances, fashion mags and being involved in a £300,000 autobiography deal.

Phewie... what a list, but it seems to have been worth it.

Her piggy bank is a-swelling and all of her hard graft has apparently got her true wealth easily topping the £1m mark.

It's all a far cry from her pre-Celeb BB days when she was scraping a living as a Paris Hilton lookey-likey.

Yet her stint in the House changed all that when she bagged the £25,000 prize.

She then sold the rights to her wedding to pop star Preston to OK! magazine for £600,000.

Even though her marriage has gone down the pan her earnings have gone from strength to strength, her earning figures lodged with Companies House show she has clocked up £925,615 - more than £2,500 a day.

One financial expert told The Sun: "She's done incredibly well to maximise earnings.

"I don't think any business analyst would have said she could make so much so quickly with so little business experience."

Congrats Chan - it seems she's a blonde with some serious business savvy.
