Charlotte Must Be In Love

His lovely girlfriend, one Charlotte Church, popped herself on a plane and jetted over to New Zealand to visit him.

Now, it's about a 28-hour flight to Christchurch from London... and bless Charlotte, she made the 12,000 mile journey to spend a meagre three days with her rugby hunk.

So picture Charlotte getting off the plane, all knackered and lonely, only to find Gav wasn't there.

According to The Sun, his hotel is situated just 15 minutes from the airport but even so it wasn't Gavin and his super-spiked hair who greeted her but two minders from Gavin's Lions Rugby Tour and a taxi driver.

However, we are reassured by a fellow guest at the hotel that all was well once Charlotte arrived:

"Charlotte went straight to Gavin's room at 2.30pm and was not seen at all for the rest of the day," The Sun reports a guest as saying.

"Gavin did emerge downstairs around six o'clock, but Charlotte must have been exhausted and he left her alone to have dinner with other Lions players."

Charlotte is due to fly with Gavin to Wellington and watch him play before getting back on a plane to England.
