Char's Baby Update

Charlotte ChurchCharlotte Church is usually first in the queue for airing her opinions.

But for once the Welsh starlet and proud new mum is keeping schtum.

Yup, when it comes to naming her newborn baby girl, Char and partner Gavin Henson aren't giving anything away.

The singer delivered the 6lb 10oz little 'un at her Welsh home on Thursday night, in what the Daily Mail described as an "emotional" birth which had both Char and Gav crying.

The new arrival has heralded a stream of well-wishers to the couple's home including Char's grandmother Maria Cooper, who told reporters:

"She is my first great-grandchild and she is beautiful. Charlotte and Gavin are tired but doing fine."

Charlotte and Gavin HensonBut the smitten couple are holding back on the name, in a move rumoured to be aimed at a lucrative magazine exposure of the much-anticipated title.

However, just to keep us on our toes, they are giving out a little info in form of a teaser.

The bubba's middle name will be Maria, in tribute to Char's mum and grandmother, also called Maria, as well as being Char's own second name.
