Sue Cole has decided to speak out after the ever-increasing mountain of rumours concerning the state of Ash 'n' Chez's relationship.

Y'know the whole Ashley's not wearing his wedding ring, Cheryl might have moved out, Ashley wants to win her back with a holiday - all that kinda coupledom goss.

Setting the record straight, Sue told Reveal magazine:

"Ash and Cheryl are together, both living at home and are trying their best to get their marriage back on track.

"I visited the both of them on Friday and they seemed fine," she continued.

"There have been a lot of rumours that they're not living together, which aren't true."

A truly loyal ma, Sue also refused to criticise Ashley over the whole alleged cheating debacle, saying:

"I love Cheryl like a daughter, but I'm not going to stand here and slate my son. I love them both very much and I am glad they are working it out."
