Actor Christopher Colquhoun has become the fifth contestant to be voted off Comic Relief Does Celebrity Fame Academy.
The 34-year-old, who plays Dr Simon Kaminski in Casualty, admitted he was disappointed not to get into the next round.
His fellow celebrity contestants voted to save comedian Gina Yashere from eviction instead, following a public vote.
Eight contestants remain in the BBC1 show, which climaxes on Red Nose Day on March 11.
Colquhoun told host Cat Deeley that taking part in the show had been the "most fantastic experience".
He said of his fellow contestants: "I think they are all superb. They were all fantastic tonight and deserved to go through."
He predicted that Yashere, who is making up in enthusiasm what she lacks in singing talent, would win the competition.
Other contestants still in with a chance include EastEnders actress Kim Medcalf, comedian Adrian Edmondson and Coronation Street actress Debra Stephenson.
Radio 1 DJ Edith Bowman, presenter Reggie Yates, Monarch Of The Glen actress Dawn Steele and DIY SOS host Nick Knowles are also in the show.
Judges include opera singer Lesley Garrett, Richard Park, headteacher at the Academy and Craig Revel Horwood.
