But now conflicting stories over their daughter, Hayley, show the couple are still not getting along.

Pamela has accused David of lying to police by allegedly reporting that their 14-year-old daughter had made a suicide attempt.

She told TMZ.com that during a phonecall in which she told him Hayley had been scratched by their family cat, David threatened he would make this call and told her: "You're going down."

Pamela insisted wounds to her daughter's wrists were caused when the cat scratched her.

She also explained that she had called her ex-husband to discuss the possibility of Hayley seeing a psychologist because she had become extremely upset.

David's publicist, Judy Katz, denies Pamela's allegations and insists that the couple did not speak that night.

She said that David was worried when he received a call from his older daughter, Taylor-Ann, 16, telling him that Hayley was bleeding.

She added that David did not describe it as a suicide attempt but accepted that the operator may have interpreted as such.
