Coronation Street crimper Nikki Sanderson is quitting the hit soap - to be with her fella.
The 21-year-old is moving to London to join lover Danny Young, who played her on-screen man Warren Baldwin.
Danny, 18, has just finished filming his last scenes after he was given the boot from the show in February.
And Nikki - who plays dopey beauty Candice Stowe - yesterday quit the Street after six years.
She said: "It is time to leave the cobbles on a high."
It is not known if the door will be left open for her return at a later date.
A source told The Sun: "She wants to be with Danny - and keep an eye on him.
"She has got a few offers of work already."
The couple have been together since last December and are believed to be desperate to join hit ITV1 show Footballers Wives.
Corrie executive producer Tony Wood said: "Nikki has been a real asset to the show.
"We wish her all the best for the future."
