Corrie star Sally Lindsay - who plays Rovers' barmaid Shelley - is the lady who's taken off the gloves and sharpened those nails.

And it's Victoria Beckham who's had her eyes scratched out... metaphorically speaking, of course.

In the latest edition of gay magazine Attitude, Sally says:

"Posh is a funny old bird. I'm not a fan. I saw her live and she looks like a fly on hind legs.

"I do feel a bit sorry for her but why does she have to pull that awful face all the time?

And the straight-talking northerner didn't have much time for the ex-Spice Girl's hubby David Beckham either.

She continued: "He's such a media slag. He is an amazing footballer, I'll give him that. But he's sold his soul to the devil now - the media.

"If you sell your wedding for a million then the marriage becomes theirs."

Any response from Posh?
