With the Golden Globes not really happening there was definitely an opening for a party this weekend.
And Courteney Cox and pals found one.
Rocking up to a bash in LA, Courteney led the way with a safe LBD.
The same cannot be said for her sister-in-law Patricia Arquette - who turned heads in a sari.
A couple of ladies really shone in the style stakes, with both Rachel Bilson and Heroes star Ali Larter opting for gorgeous white frocks.
Of course there were others who seem to have thought it was a fancy-dress party and some blokes who could have made more of an effort with their black tie.
