There's been many a time that we've spied Courtney Love looking a bit less than groomed.
And it seems that we're not the only ones... her own daughter wishes her scruff-bag mum would make a bit more effort to be feminine.
Young Frances Bean, the tender but clearly stylish 13-year-old daughter of Courtney and the late Kurt Cobain, revealed to Teen Vogue her embarrassment about how her mother dresses.
She's not such a fan of the rock 'n' roll look which Courtney has perfected - complete with smudged make-up and wild, straggly hair.
"I prefer it when she's a classy starlet. I don't really like her hard-metal stuff, or when she doesn't brush her hair," Frances admitted.
"I'm a different person. She tells me to live free and be free, but listen to other people's advice, but I don't always follow it."
