Extra security is being brought in for the British Comedy Awards in case of a clash between the Osbournes and Simon Cowell, who are both presenting gongs.
The Daily Mirror says bosses fear the two sides will have "words" - Cowell has not spoken to Sharon Osbourne since their last meeting on X Factor.
Sharon, never one to hold back on her opinions on the show, attacked Cowell's protege, Steve Brookstein, who won the final, as a "creepy smirker".
An insider told the Mirror that the Osbournes have been given a dressing room on the other side of the ITV studio from Cowell for the ceremony.
"The Osbourne clan are furious with Cowell for the way he has behaved during the X Factor series," the source revealed.
"He even had the cheek to joke that their recent break-in - when £2m of jewellery was stolen - was a publicity stunt."
Sharon, 52, who clashed with the music mogul almost every week on X Factor in what has come to be seen as a real love-hate relationship, said Cowell thought she fancied him, but: "I'd rather have a giant lobster in my crotch than him."
Another source revealed that Cowell did not show up for the X Factor wrap party until after the Osbournes had left.
