Dannii's X Upset

Dannii MinogueDannii Minogue was apparently in tears this weekend.

After Louis Walsh publically made fun of her on live TV.

Maybe it was tension of having the first ever public-only vote...

But this weekend saw the most fiery exchanges yet between the four X Factor judges.

The Sun reports that Dannii was left in tears after Louis mocked her singing abilities.

The incident kicked off after Dannii told Louis' only contestant, Niki Evans: "I watched the tape from last week and you were completely out of tune."

Louis was quick to defend his singer, mocking Dannii's own voice by saying: "Dannii, singing out of tune? Ho ho!"

Louis WalshDannii then failed to return immediately after the next ad break, appearing only as the next act began singing.

A backstage source told The Sun: "Louis keeps joking about Dannii's singing talents and it's really getting to her."

In an interview with the Sunday Mirror newspaper, Dannii herself admitted:

"When Simon (Cowell) says girl judges are the cattiest, he means Lulu (Louis Walsh). He (Louis) even said Kylie can't sing. That was unforgivable."

Dannii also confirmed rumours of friction between her and fellow judge Sharon Osbourne, saying:

"As for Sharon, you don't click with everybody. But it's her choice not to be friends. Apparently she's envious because I'm younger and prettier."
