After deciding he has had enough of his latest round of booze-fuelled nights, the 36-year-old reckons it's time to settle down as a father. Was that a pig flying over there?

Often described as a loverat, Daz offered an olive branch to Suzanne Shaw and baby Corey, just a few short months after declaring: "I don't do family."

Darren is currently appearing as a womanising, scoundrel in the stage version of Alfie.

But in real life he makes the cockney rogue look like Mother Theresa in comparison.

"I behaved terribly with a lot of people in my life - and Suzanne is up there with the most important people in my life.

"On Sunday we took Corey to see mum, that was a breakthrough.

"She wants me to be a dad to Corey and I'm in a better place to do that."

Darren, who has had a string of affairs and relationships under his belt, was caught spending the night with chorus girl Cecilia Carneby while ex-Hear'Say singer Suzanne was pregnant.

Both she and Darren denied they were having a fling.

Suzanne appeared to believe him but just weeks after Corey's birth, Darren walked out after Kerrie Jones revealed they had a drug-fuelled one-month fling.
