Now, we all know that getting a tattoo of your sweetheart's name can be a risky business.
The latest celeb to face the dilemma of a maybe-too-hastily-inked piece of body art is Darren Day.
The 37-year-old has spent £200 removing his "Suzi Forever" tat after splitting with former Hear'Say singer Suzanne Shaw in 2005.
Hospital worker Rhett Marshall (great name) was in the tattoo parlour when Daz had his work done, and told The Sun:
"Darren was laughing that it was the third time he's had an ex-girlfriend's name removed. He has learnt his lesson though, as he had a pattern put on instead of a new name."
Tattooist Richard Burley, from Luton, added: "It took two and a half hours and would have been painful - but Darren didn't flinch at all."
Darren left Suzanne for current girlfriend Stephanie Dooley, just months after Suzi had given birth to their son Corey.
In the past, he has been linked to former Corrie star Tracy Shaw, TV host Andrea Boardman, Home And Away's Isla Fisher, actress Anna Friel and TV's Tara Newley.
A friend said: "He should buy a season ticket for the tattooist. It would be a lot cheaper."
