David Beckham is officially the king of shade wearers while his wifey, one Victoria, is in the same poll as the worst sunglasses sporter.

And just to rub salt in the wound, his alleged mistress Rebecca Loos has topped the chart as the best female, beating trend-setters like Gwen Stefani and hotel heiress Paris Hilton, who came a close second.

Another notable in the poll is Bono from U2, voted the third best bloke for his bug-eyed specs that are synonymous with his slicked-back hair and leather jacket.

Victoria BeckhamBut Oasis's Noel Gallagher was voted worst male for his boring sunglasses, which may or may not have cost a fiver from your local pharmacy.

The chavtastic Peter Andre came second in that category, followed by Brian McFadden.

In other news related to the Beckhams' image - tenuous link there, we know - their tattooist is threatening to sue the pair.

Mr and Mrs Becks want to use the tattoos in a new advertising campaign, but Louis Molloy claims he owns copyright of the tatts.

Louis, 42, explained: "I was contacted recently and told they wanted to use some of them in a campaign.

"They still think they're the owners of the images, but if they use them without my permission, I'll sue."
