On the topic of delaying her wedding to Brian McFadden.

Listen closely now kids, cos this tale's a little complicated.

Basically, Brian blabbed in an recent magazine interview that Delta's father had told Brian he had to quit smoking before tying the matrimonial knot with his daughter.

Added to which, Brian and Delta have refused to set a date for their big day.

But, says Delta's rep, the delay has nowt diddly to do with the need for Brian to ditch his nicotine cravings.

"Yes, Brian and Delta's father Dennis did discuss the need for him to cut down on his smoking," Delta's spokeswoman told Sydney Confidential.

"But that's not the reason they haven't set a date for the wedding yet and it's looking more likely to be next year.

"It's due to the fact their careers are occupying most of their time in 2008."

So, to recap: Delta's said no to the rumour that she and Brian are saying no to a wedding cos Brian needs to say no to the fags before Delta says, "Yes, I do."
