Unhappy EastEnders star Christopher Parker could have slashed his wrists AND taken an overdose in a London hotel.
Parker - the soap's Spencer Moon - was found in a distressed state by cops after they received a frantic call from his room.
The 21-year-old actor is believed to be unhappy over false rumours circulating about his private life.
The Sun newspaper claims he cut his wrists and took an overdose of paracetamol at the Marriott Hotel, central London, at the weekend.
Staff at the hotel, near the Houses of Parliament, called police who discovered Parker.
Soap chiefs, the paper adds, believe the incident was a "cry for help".
Parker has been excused of all filming commitments while he recovers and scripts are being hastily rewritten to accommodate his absence.
