EastEnders hunk Jake Maskall has just disappointed his female fans by revealing that he's gay.
"Sorry girls - no chance," he said. "I am gay - I've been with my boyfriend for 12 years now. It's not a secret."
The actor, who plays ladies' man Danny Moon in the soap, told Now magazine that he hopes everyone just leaves him be.
"My relationship's part of my private life and I hope everyone respects my privacy," he said.
Currently in Albert Square he's bedding Sam Mitchell - and he revealed that he's more than happy to strip off and film sex scenes.
"I love bedroom scenes, and I'll happily give Nigel Harman a run for his
money," he joked.
But he did admit that Joel Beckett, who plays his brother Jake in EastEnders, is far more popular with the ladies than he is.
"Joel gets more letters than me. He's the thinking woman's crumpet and the
housewives' favourite. We don't fight over the attention - Joel's welcome to
it," he said.
