Poor Carol Vorderman, she had to rely heavily on her foundation after a serious blushing moment on Countdown.
A couple of rude words made up by an eight-year-old contestant on the show were enough to incite giggles and flushed cheeks.
As part of a birthday treat, Tanmay Dixit rocked up to Yorkshire TV's Countdown studio in Leeds to be part of the audience - but the show's producers refused him entry saying he was too young.
However, he wasn't too young to be a contestant and so they auditioned him there and then.
An ardent fan of the word and number game, Tanmay went on to win his contest against a 44-year-old IT trainer.
But his winning game included 'farted' and 'fannies' - both of which were allowed by the dictionary chiefs and made Carol and co-host Richard Whiteley chuckle.
The youngster, whose parents are both doctors, plays several musical instruments and is two years ahead of his age group at school.
His family are all serious Countdown fans and video the show if they can't watch it.
Tanmay's heroic efforts will be screened on Monday 21st March.
