So much so that when one poor unsuspecting fan met the This Morning couple, she promptly fainted.

There's nothing more likely to make you feel like an A-list superstar than screaming fans, swooning fans, hysterical fans and the ultimate in knowing you've made it big... fainting fans.

The bizarre incident happened when This Morning was broadcasting live from the Ideal Home Show and one Beverley Collett was due to appear live on the show.

However, as Fern (who appears in our unlikely female sex symbols feature) and Phil approached her she passed out with shock and had to be carried off.

She was treated by paramedics and the show's resident GP, who said her blood pressure had gone through the roof.

But it wasn't all a disaster, as Ms Collett from Middlesex was later introduced to Fern and Phil and told them:

"I got so excited when I saw you both that I fainted. I missed my slot because I was in the medical room. It was just nerves and excitement."

Philip apologised and fortunately the show's producers had provided her with a chair so that she could rest easy.
